 Armstrong is pleased to announce the availability of a commercial grade stocked pump solution. The Pump-In-A-Box (PiB) lineup will satisfy current market demand for commercial pumps with on-demand availability, and competitive pricing. The PiB range includes the 4360, 4380, and 4380 IVS vertical in-line units, with fixed impeller and motor combinations. Motors range from ½ HP to 10 HP, with end connections ranging from 1.25” to 4”. PiB units are provided with standard bronze fitted construction, and standard efficiency, open drip proof motors, in all common voltage configurations. Models within the lineup cover an extensive flow and head range, building on the coverage provided by the current Armstrong circulators.
 PiB units are suitable for installation in new builds, retrofits, and repairs. On-demand availability at the right price is critical for selling in this market. These pumps are available from your local wholesaler and are either in stock on the shelf, or available for shipment within two days.
Pump-in-a-Box units are also easy to select. Armstrong has created a Field Guide to list the sizes available and allow contractors to select units three different ways - using system head and flow data, using pipe size and motor hp data, or using a model or part number.
Special attention was given to the packaging design of this product in order to provide excellent strength and convenience. Additionally, the Armstrong branded PiB packaging offers a clean and professional appearance. The Pump-in-a-Box Field Guide ships with a clear plastic adhesive pouch that can be applied to the under-side of a toolbox lid, or any other convenient location for a field technician to refer to later.
 The Armstrong Pump-In-A-Box provides the quality of a factory-built pump at the right price. Local pump shops may be able to furnish a custom solution when delivery times are crucial. However, only the Armstrong PiB Series offers pumps that have been pressure tested, performance tested, and dynamically balanced.
